Questions about spine & disc screening
Aira’s Whole Body MRI based screening includes spine imaging that may help identify disc herniation-related findings, where detectable within the protocol. It is a screening checkup, and any finding is reviewed by a doctor for appropriate next steps.
Yes. Spine imaging is included in Aira’s broader Whole Body MRI based health checkup for all adults, particularly those with desk-based work, prolonged sitting or a sedentary lifestyle.
Spine imaging is included within the overall Whole Body MRI session, typically about 45 to 60 minutes. Your Aira Life Coach can share current session-length details for your package.
No ionising radiation. MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves, and in most cases there are no injections or contrast agents.
A screening can add a structural baseline and context. For ongoing pain, it is still worth seeing a doctor, who may recommend a dedicated examination or tests.
No. Aira is a screening for people who feel well. Sudden weakness or numbness in the legs, loss of bladder or bowel control, or severe pain after a fall or injury needs urgent care now. Please call 112 or go to the nearest hospital.
